testimonial from cory arminioCory Arminio

Dear Dr. Lombardi and the entire staff at Pet ER:

Thank you! It has been three weeks since our dog’s Cory’ surgery and the twinkle in his eyes have returned.

Our journey began about a month ago; Cory could barely stand or walk. We discovered he completely tore his ACL. We met with two other surgeons before we elected to go with Dr. Lombardi. Dr. Lombardi’s bedside manner made us feel very comfortable, she took a great deal of time explaining the procedure, the risks, complications and the steps to recovery. She answered all our questions and concerns, she was very patient. Immediately after meeting her, we felt so comfortable we scheduled Cory’s surgery.

After the surgery Dr. Lombardi took the time to call us personally to update us on Cory’s progress. When we picked Cory up Sandra Dowd (Physical Rehabilitation) took the time to go over everything Cory needed, reviewing which pills to take a what time, how to walk him, details about the kennel he was going to need and more. Sandra also recommended a specific diet for Cory advising us what to feed him and how often (he needs to loose 15-20) We did not have everything we needed to bring Cory home, so Sandra kept Cory at the hospital so we could go to the store and purchase the kennel so we could set up as soon as we brought Cory home.

During the past three weeks, I have called the hospital with several questions; each staff member I spoke with took the time to answer every question I had.

In the past few weeks Cory has made so much progress, he is happy; he is standing again on his own on all four legs and is doing very well on his short walks. We made the best decision electing Dr. Lombardi. We made the best decision having surgery performed at Pet ER Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center. Although Cory’s recovery period is not over, we can already see so much progress. And he has even lost 5 lbs on his new diet!

Thank you for everything, we appreciate all you have done.

Sincerely,

Lauren Arminio & Family
