We had another Police K9 medical training event last week with the NY State Police and Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office. Training sessions are so important because the officers learn various first aid, emergency care, and rehabilitation techniques so that they can be ready to provide immediate care to their fellow K9 officer if a situation arises. We are extremely appreciative of everything that they do in our community to keep us safe and want to give back to them in any way we can. A big thank you to all first responders both human and canine.
