East End Veterinary Center is ready to offer expert internal medical care to your beloved pet. With many symptoms that indicate an underlying condition, further investigation of your pet’s internal structure is needed for a proper diagnosis. A veterinary internist specializes in the evaluation, management, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases that affect major internal organs. Our board-certified internist utilizes state-of-the-art technology to perform internal diagnostic procedures that will provide a clearer picture of your pet’s condition. The comfort of your pet is one of our top priorities and we will always do our best to ensure that he or she is feeling relaxed in a low-stress environment throughout any procedure. Many of these procedures are extremely routine and oftentimes, your pet will be able to return home to you the very same day. With all services operating under the same roof, we also have the advantageous ability to transfer your pet to our internist from any other department in the hospital, if needed.
If your pet has been diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA), diabetes mellitus, pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease or another internal disease, or if your pet is ill and you are struggling to find a proper diagnosis, a visit with a veterinary internist may be necessary.
