Emergency
Dr. Cathy Son was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Georgia Institute of Technology and completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Following graduation, she completed an accelerated emergency training program at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey before joining the staff at East End Veterinary Center. Her interests include gastrointestinal diseases, cardiology, and emergency medicine.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Son enjoys spending time with her senior dachshund Coco, crocheting (usually sweaters for Coco), trying new foods, and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Long Island.
