Dennis Trafny, DVM, DACVIM received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2007. He then participated in a small animal medicine and surgery internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City and stayed on to do a specialty internship in cardiology as well. He received a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and went on to complete his residency there in 2013 to become board-certified in veterinary cardiology.
As a cardiologist, his areas of interests include management of heart failure, congenital heart disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and advanced ECG interpretation.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family and two dogs: Popeye & Ida.
