Lauren Sikorski, DVM, DACVIM is a Connecticut native who currently resides in the Artist Colony of Oakdale, New York with her husband and two pets: Raison d’être and Old Deuteronomy. Dr. Sikorski attended St. George’s University and completed her residency training in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Sikorski chose an Internal Medicine specialty for case diversity and her appreciation of a difficult diagnosis. Continuously striving to enrich her clinical acumen, she loves taking on new cases and is always up for a challenge. Her interests are varied but include infectious and immune mediated disease, transfusion medicine, diagnostic imaging, endocrinology, and gastroenterology. In addition to spending time with her family, outside of the hospital Dr. Sikorski is an avid gardener and succulent propagator, loves cooking (especially ethnic cuisine), and is involved in Artist Colony preservation.
