East End Veterinary Center (EEVC) is a specialized emergency and specialty hospital for companion animals. We offer emergency treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our hospital also functions as a specialty care facility where pets can receive treatment from one of our specialists, as referred by their family veterinarian. We are Suffolk County’s only VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) level II certified veterinary hospital, which recognizes facilities that meet and exceed their standards and guidelines for quality of care.

East End Veterinary Center (EEVC) is currently seeking Emergency Veterinary Technicians – licensed and license-eligible - to join our family-style team and provide emergency medicine at our 24-hour hospital in Riverhead, NY.

Our technicians work in an engaging, high-volume environment with colleagues who are excited to share their knowledge and expertise.

Ideal candidates will be compassionate, hard-working, and quick thinking. Please bring your positive outlook, passion for the profession, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and ability to work well with a team!

Duties include:

  • Diagnostics (Radiographs, ECG, Blood Pressure, Venipuncture)
  • Placing IV Catheters
  • Administering treatments
  • Assisting and monitoring patients during surgery
  • Providing emergency and critical care to patients
  • Maintaining accurate medical records

Position Highlights:

  • $5,000 sign on bonus for licensed applicants
  • Full and part-time openings
  • Shifts: 12 hours
  • Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
  • Education: Associate (Required)
  • Experience preferred but willing to mentor the right candidate

Are you ready to embark on an exciting career journey where you'll make a real difference in the lives of animals and their families? East End Veterinary Center is seeking passionate Veterinary Assistants to join our team-oriented environment and provide exceptional specialty and emergency medicine at our state-of-the-art hospital in Riverhead, NY.

About the Role:

  • Dive into the action alongside our skilled veterinary team, where you'll play a crucial role in performing procedures, administering treatments, and conducting diagnostics to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
  • Create a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere for both our clients and patients, ensuring that every visit to EEVC is a positive and memorable experience for all.
  • Join forces with your dedicated colleagues to deliver seamless and personalized care that caters to the unique needs of each individual pet, fostering a sense of trust and comfort in our compassionate community.

Compensation:

  • $18 - $21 per hour pending experience & skillset
  • Overnight Shift Differential: $20 per shift

Schedule Options:

  • Overnights: Three 12-hour shifts including ONE weekend shift
  • Three 12 - hour shifts: Two overnight shifts, one day shift (this includes ONE weekend shift)

East End Veterinary Center (EEVC) is currently seeking a Client Service Representative to join our family-style team that provides specialty and emergency medicine at our 24-hour hospital in Riverhead, NY.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, motivated, articulate, enthusiastic “people person” who pays attention to details, enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people and their pets, and takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Greet clients, pets, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office.
  • Answer patient questions, provide assistance and directions when necessary.
  • Field all phone calls and send emails.
  • Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Register new patients and update necessary records.
  • Distribute forms and paperwork to pet owners and review them to ensure required fields are completed appropriately.
  • Process bills, invoices, and payments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records.
  • Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, organized, and welcoming.
  • Uphold the positive reputation of our hospital by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
